Julian Brandt Stuns the Market and Joins Ajax After Leaving Borussia Dortmund

Julian Brandt has found his next destination. After spending a month as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Borussia Dortmund, the German attacking midfielder surprised the transfer market by officially signing with Ajax, turning down opportunities to continue his career in several of Europe's top leagues.

The Amsterdam club confirmed the signing on Friday, announcing that the German international has agreed to a three-year contract that will keep him at Ajax until 2029.
