Ajax may not be finished in the transfer market just yet. Despite putting together one of its most ambitious transfer windows in recent years, there is a growing belief inside the Dutch club that another marquee signing is still on the way as part of its plan to return to the top of European football.

According to comments made by Ronald de Boer on Ziggo Sport, people around the club expect "at least one more blockbuster signing" before the transfer window closes, although the former midfielder admitted he does not know the player's identity or which position will be reinforced.

Ajax Has Already Made a Statement in the Market

The rebuilding project in Amsterdam has already produced several eye-catching arrivals.

The return of goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, along with the signings of Daley Blind, Caio Henrique, and Julian Brandt, has significantly strengthened the squad while restoring excitement among supporters eager to see Ajax compete for domestic and European honors once again.

Even in the club's European debut against Shelbourne, several of those new arrivals started on the bench, highlighting the increased depth available to head coach Míchel Sánchez.
