Colombia defeated Uruguay in the second semifinal of the Copa América 2024 with a 1-0 score, thanks to a goal from Jefferson Lerma, securing the second ticket to the continental tournament final.

The only goal came in the 39th minute from a header by Jefferson Lerma, assisted by one of the tournament's MVP favorites and Colombia's captain, James Rodríguez. With this result, Colombia will face Argentina in the grand final of the Copa América 2024.
