When and where will the Copa Sudamericana quarterfinals be played?
The 2026 CONMEBOL Sudamericana is entering its decisive stages with eight teams still in contention. The quarterfinals will be played between September 8 and 17, with matches taking place across Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Peru and Uruguay.
First legs: September 8, 9 and 10

Quarterfinal action will begin on Tuesday, September 8. Independiente Santa Fe will host Vasco da Gama at 5:00 p.m. local time at Estadio Nemesio Camacho “El Campín” in Bogotá. Later that day, Boca Juniors will face São Paulo at 9:30 p.m. at La Bombonera in Buenos Aires.
On Wednesday, September 9, Santos will host Atlético Mineiro. The first leg is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. local time at Estádio Urbano Caldeira in Santos. The opening week will conclude on Thursday, September 10, when Cienciano welcomes Montevideo City Torque at 7:30 p.m. at Estadio Inca Garcilaso de la Vega in Cusco.
Second legs one week later

The return matches will begin on Tuesday, September 15. Vasco da Gama will host Independiente Santa Fe at 7:00 p.m. at Estádio São Januário in Rio de Janeiro. Later that evening, São Paulo will welcome Boca Juniors at 9:30 p.m. at MorumBIS.
On Wednesday, September 16, Atlético Mineiro and Santos will decide their all-Brazilian tie. The second leg will kick off at 7:00 p.m. at Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte. The quarterfinal schedule will conclude on Thursday, September 17, with Montevideo City Torque hosting Cienciano at 9:30 p.m. at Estadio Centenario in Montevideo.
Four ties for a place in the semifinals
The quarterfinal lineup features Boca Juniors against São Paulo, Independiente Santa Fe against Vasco da Gama, Santos against Atlético Mineiro, and Cienciano against Montevideo City Torque. CONMEBOL has specified that all listed kickoff times are local to the venue hosting each match.
Five countries will be represented in the quarterfinals. Brazil has four clubs —São Paulo, Vasco da Gama, Santos and Atlético Mineiro— while Argentina is represented by Boca Juniors, Colombia by Independiente Santa Fe, Peru by Cienciano and Uruguay by Montevideo City Torque.
The four aggregate winners will advance to the semifinals, which are scheduled for October. The 2026 CONMEBOL Sudamericana final is set for November 21 in Barranquilla, Colombia.
