Meanwhile, Mirassol has become one of the biggest surprises of the tournament. Playing in its first-ever Copa Libertadores campaign, the Brazilian club already secured qualification to the knockout stage after defeating Club Always Ready 2-1 in the previous round.

Club Atlético Lanús will host Mirassol Futebol Clube this Tuesday, May 26, in the sixth and final matchday of Group G in the CONMEBOL Libertadores 2026. The clash at Estadio Ciudad de Lanús - Néstor Díaz Pérez could define the Argentine club’s international future.
