The Brazilian side struck first through Luiz Araujo, who opened the scoring in the 33rd minute after a well-worked attacking move. However, early in the second half, Guido Carrillo found the equalizer to bring the Argentine side back into the game.
A heated battle from the start
The match was defined by its intensity and physicality. From the opening minutes, both Estudiantes de La Plata and Flamengo showed a combative approach, with strong challenges and constant duels across the pitch.

Despite that, the visitors managed to take the lead following a brilliant play by Bruno Henrique, who delivered a precise assist for Luiz Araujo to finish.
Quick response from Estudiantes
In the second half, Estudiantes de La Plata came out with greater urgency. The equalizer was sparked after a key intervention by Agustin Rossi, who denied a second goal for the Brazilian side.
