Michael Olise, the Next Ballon d’Or Winner? Bayern Munich Already Believe in Him

Michael Olise has become one of Bayern Munich’s biggest bets for the future. The German club’s leadership believes the French winger has the potential to reach the pinnacle of world football. How far can he go?

Michael Olise, a Rising Star at Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich has plenty of reasons to believe in Michael Olise. Since arriving from Crystal Palace in 2024, the French winger has continued to make a name for himself with his playing style and goal contributions.

At 24, the attacker has established himself as an important part of Bayern's project. His performances have already raised expectations among the club's executives, who believe he has yet to reach his full potential.

Bayern Munich Sees Michael Olise as a Future Ballon d'Or Winner

The club's confidence in Olise goes beyond viewing him as one of its attacking stars. Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen is convinced that Olise will win the Ballon d'Or during his career, a bold prediction that places the Frenchman among Europe's most promising players.

According to comments reported by Sport Bild, Dreesen highlighted both the winger's talent and the environment he has found in Munich to reach his full potential. The executive believes the team can provide him with the tools he needs to compete for football's most prestigious individual award.

Olise's Numbers Back Bayern Munich's Bet

Olise has recorded 54 goals and 61 assists in 119 appearances for Bayern Munich across all competitions, making him an attacker capable of influencing games in multiple ways.

However, to contend for the Ballon d'Or, he will need to maintain that level and make a difference in decisive matches. Competing for domestic and European titles will also be essential to turning his potential into a genuine candidacy.

The Challenge of Turning the Prediction Into Reality

Dreesen also emphasized that individual success depends on the team's collective performance. Bayern has several high-level teammates who can help Olise maximize his strengths, but the challenge will be maintaining consistency over multiple seasons and delivering on the biggest stages.

The club also wants to keep the Frenchman for as long as possible and plans to discuss his future when the time is right. Olise already has the backing of Bayern's leadership; now he must prove he can compete for the pinnacle of world football.
