RB Leipzig responded to the reports that took Yan Diomandé's transfer to Real Madrid for granted. Marcel Schäfer, the sporting director, clarified: “Some self-proclaimed experts said the deal was done. It's simply not the case. We haven't reached that stage yet."



Negotiations open but stalled


The German club expressed its annoyance at the information released by Fabrizio Romano, who had presented the deal as practically official. Leipzig insists that the negotiations are still ongoing, but with unresolved differences between the clubs and the player's agency
