He Says NO to Barcelona! Harry Kane Distances Himself From the Blaugrana and Confirms He Wants to Stay at Bayern Munich
Amid growing interest from Barcelona, the English star made his stance clear, shutting down speculation about a possible move away from Germany.
Kane Shuts Down Transfer Noise: His Present Is in Munich
As rumors linked Harry Kane to the FC Barcelona shortlist as a potential successor to Robert Lewandowski, the English striker sent a clear message: his mind, his form and his future all remain with Bayern Munich. Speaking to Sport Bild, Kane insisted he feels “very good” in his current situation and sees no reason to contemplate a change for next season.
Despite speculation, Kane revealed that talks about a contract extension have not even begun: “I haven’t had any contact. I’ll see what happens, but right now I’m not thinking about next season.” A straightforward response that cools Barcelona’s hopes.
Barcelona May Look His Way, but Kane Isn’t Opening Any Doors
Within Barcelona’s planning, Kane emerged as a potential option if Lewandowski does not renew. But the English star quickly shut the idea down, stressing he is fully committed to life in Germany: “There’s no rush. I’m really happy in Munich, and you can see that in the way I’m playing.”
Kane also highlighted that next summer brings a World Cup, making major decisions even less likely: “It’s very improbable that anything will change after this season.” Asked whether Bayern should be worried, Kane dismissed it outright.

A Mega Signing That Has Exceeded Expectations
The Bayern Munich board paid close to €100 million to sign Kane – a historic fee for the club. And according to Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, the investment has proven more than justified: “If we had known Harry would be better every season, we probably would have paid more.”
Kane’s numbers support the claim. With 24 goals in 18 matches across all competitions this season, he has become one of the most prolific forwards in Europe and the linchpin of Bayern’s attack.
Kane Stays Focused and Silences Transfer Buzz
While Barcelona continues to explore alternatives for the future, Kane seems to have closed the door firmly. His stance is unmistakable: happy, settled and intent on continuing to lead the Bayern project. If anything is to change later on, it won’t be driven by rumor — but by time.
