The Bayern Munich striker has openly admitted on several occasions that he dreams of swapping football for the gridiron in the future. “It’s always in the back of my mind,” admitted the England captain in recent interviews.

That dream received an unexpected boost this week. According to comments reported by BILD, legendary quarterback Eli Manning assured that Kane would have the doors wide open at the New York Giants whenever he wishes: “Of course he could. The Giants would welcome Harry Kane as their new kicker anytime,” said Manning.

An Insatiable Goalscorer in Germany

The proposal comes at a time when Kane is enjoying a blistering start to the season. The Englishman has scored 13 goals in his first seven games of the 2025-26 campaign, eight of them in just four Bundesliga fixtures. He is closing in on 100 goals for Bayern and could become the fastest player ever to reach that milestone for a single club in Europe’s top five leagues if he nets a brace against Werder Bremen.

At 32 years old, Kane defies the usual logic of physical decline. Far from slowing down, he is averaging nearly a goal per game with the Bavarians and has made it clear that he wants to continue competing at the highest level in European football.
