Harry Kane Ends the Rumors: Will He Leave Bayern Munich to Return to the Premier League?
Calm and confident, Harry Kane spoke about his future in Germany and made it clear that his present —and perhaps his destiny— lie with Bayern Munich.
A Golden Present in Germany
The England captain is living one of the best moments of his career. Since arriving at Bayern Munich in 2023 from Tottenham Hotspur, Harry Kane has shown that his ambition knows no limits. With 103 goals in 106 matches and trophies such as the Bundesliga and the German Super Cup, the English striker has also earned the respect of European football.
His performances have sparked rumors about a possible return to the Premier League, where he still has a €67 million release clause, but Kane himself has been quick to silence the speculation.
Kane Speaks Clearly About His Future
In comments to British media, the forward was straightforward:
“I definitely see it. I haven’t spoken to Bayern about it yet, but I’d be open to having an honest conversation. It depends on how the season goes and what we achieve. Right now we’re in a fantastic place and I’m not thinking about anything else.”
Those words reveal his openness to extending his contract beyond 2027, a sign of his comfort and commitment to Bayern’s long-term project.

Less Desire to Return Home
Kane also admitted that his dream of returning to the Premier League isn’t as strong as before.
“If you’d asked me when I first left for Bayern, I would have said I’d go back without hesitation. But now that I’ve been here a couple of years, that desire has gone down a bit.”
The striker, the second-highest scorer in Premier League history with 213 goals, reflected that football has taught him to live in the moment:
“Opportunities and moments come when they’re meant to. Right now, I’m fully committed to this club.”
A Future Painted in Red
At 32, Harry Kane seems to have found in Bayern Munich the balance between success and stability he had long been chasing. While the rumors continue to swirl in England, Kane prefers to focus on the present — that of a striker who, far from home, has become a legend.
