Can Anyone Stop Bayern Munich? 13 Wins and Counting…
Bayern Munich remains unstoppable. With 13 consecutive wins, Vincent Kompany’s team has matched a historic record once achieved only by AC Milan.
A Perfect Start to the Season
Bayern Munich is experiencing one of the best starts in its history. With a 3-0 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach, the Bavarian giants reached 13 consecutive wins across all competitions, equaling the record set by AC Milan in the 1992/93 campaign.
Goals from Joshua Kimmich (64’), Raphaël Guerreiro (69’), and Lennart Karl (81’) sealed another dominant performance for Vincent Kompany’s side, which hasn’t lost a single match this season. So far, Bayern has lifted the Franz-Beckenbauer Cup, advanced past the first round of the DFB-Pokal, won all three of its Champions League fixtures, and taken maximum points from its first eight Bundesliga games.
A United and Lethal Team
“This record didn’t come by chance. It’s the reward for hard work,” said Kimmich after the match. “We have a great team. Even the players coming off the bench make a difference. There’s competition, but everyone pushes toward the same goal.”
The numbers back him up: Bayern boasts a goal differential of 47-9, even better than Capello’s Milan, which achieved 45-13 during their record run. Still, the club remains cautious before declaring itself the new record holder.

Kompany Calls for Calm
“On Wednesday, we have another challenge in the Cup against Köln. We can’t afford to relax,” said Vincent Kompany, who recently extended his contract. “We’re in a good moment, but we must stay humble and keep working.”
The Belgian manager has achieved what many of his predecessors could not — restoring stability in the dressing room and focusing the club solely on football. His boss, Max Eberl, summed it up perfectly: “Vinnie’s contract extension was key. This Bayern side is solid, but still hungry.”
For now, Bayern Munich has matched Milan’s legendary record… and next Wednesday, they could make history.
