The Argentine manager praised Guardiola’s ability to reinvent himself while continuing to win consistently.

Simeone highlighted Guardiola’s success with Manchester City, FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
According to Simeone, sustaining success under constant pressure speaks for itself.
He also stressed that having top players is not enough unless results continue to follow.

The Atlético manager admitted he does not expect Guardiola to stay away from football for long.
“I don’t think he will stay away for too long,” Simeone said, adding that Guardiola will return quickly because “he belongs to football.”
Simeone also revealed he identified with Guardiola’s comments about the physical and mental exhaustion caused by competing every three days.
