He also pushed back against criticism of Neymar’s injury record, pointing out the challenge of returning to form after setbacks: “Anyone who lives in football understands how difficult it is to come back from an injury and regain rhythm and confidence.”

Ancelotti stands firm

Despite Ronaldo’s words, Carlo Ancelotti appears unlikely to budge. The Italian coach insists the Seleção needs players in top condition and won’t change his stance, even for Neymar.
