FC Barcelona once again has its top target to strengthen the wings: Luis Díaz. After the latest failed attempt with Nico Williams, who refused to sign without guaranteed registration, the Catalan club fully reactivated the Colombian option—one that comes with no strings attached.

Unlike the Athletic Club forward, Luis Díaz has shown complete trust in Barça’s project. His camp had already sent positive signals even before the Nico move collapsed, and talks with his agent have accelerated in recent days. According to club sources, the Colombian is not demanding any registration clauses or escape options if he's not registered in time with LaLiga.

Just like Dani Olmo and Joan Garcia, Díaz believes in the club’s management and is willing to wait patiently. That gesture has been well received by the Barça board, which is eager to avoid another saga like the one with Nico Williams. The club also knows Díaz plans to ask Liverpool for a transfer—though not immediately. The tragic passing of Diogo Jota has deeply affected the Reds, and Díaz intends to respect the mourning period before making any formal moves.
