Bizarrap and Daddy Yankee Light Up Madrid With NFL Halftime Spectacle
The Santiago Bernabéu once again turned into a global stage — but this time, it wasn’t only about the matchup between the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Commanders (16–13).
Madrid experienced a halftime show crafted with Super Bowl-level flair, bringing a taste of American entertainment to a European football cathedral. And at the heart of it all were two titans of Latin music: Bizarrap and Daddy Yankee.
A Halftime Production Worthy of the Bernabéu
The Argentine producer and the reggaeton icon — both multi–Latin Grammy winners — took over the turf with a performance built for a worldwide audience.
For the first time ever, they performed their explosive collaboration: “Daddy Yankee: BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 0/66.”
The stadium transformed into a festival of lights. Fireworks, stadium-wide LED visuals in electric tones and a thunderous percussion section set the tempo while thousands of fans raised their phones to capture every second.
Bizarrap used his set to nod to artists he’s collaborated with — Shakira, Quevedo and others — while Daddy Yankee, retired from touring since 2022 after dedicating his life to faith, chose this historic NFL event for his grand public return.
A Global Party Inside the Bernabéu
The celebration didn’t stop with the headliners. Throughout the game, the Bernabéu’s sound system turned the stadium into a cross-cultural party. Songs like “La Bachata” by Manuel Turizo, “Berghain” by Rosalía, and timeless classics such as “Bamboleo” by the Gipsy Kings and “La Macarena” kept the atmosphere electric.
The NFL wanted a statement moment in its first official game on Spanish soil — and delivered exactly that.
With Bizarrap, Daddy Yankee and a stadium roaring in every direction, Madrid witnessed one of the most powerful halftime shows the city has seen in years.
