Ferran Torres’ future has begun to attract attention following his outstanding performances for Spain at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The 26-year-old forward, who scored the goal that helped La Roja secure the title against Argentina, has reportedly attracted interest from several major European clubs. However, FC Barcelona maintains a clear position regarding his continuity.

Barcelona has not received any request

DAccording to information published by Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan club has not received any official communication regarding a possible departure.

Neither Ferran Torres, his representatives, nor any interested club has reportedly contacted the board to begin negotiations.

The interest surrounding the forward

One of the teams reportedly monitoring Ferran’s situation is Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain, as the coach knows the player very well after working with him for the Spanish national team.

Despite these reports, the reigning European champions have not submitted an offer or made any formal approach to Barcelona.

Barcelona’s plans for Ferran Torres

Ferran is under contract until June 2027, and Barcelona intends to discuss an extension in September, once the transfer window has closed.

The chosen date would be linked to financial fair play conditions, as well as a clause included in his move from Manchester City that would require the Catalan club to pay the English side €8 million if his contract is renewed.
