Arsenal attacker Foord extends contract
Arsenal have already had plenty of outgoings ahead of the 2026-27 season, though Caitlin Foord will remain with the Gunners.
Arsenal have announced Caitlin Foord has signed a new contract with the club.
Foord's previous deal was set to expire at the end of this month, but the forward has reportedly signed a new two-year contract with the Gunners.
The 31-year-old joined Arsenal in 2020 and has gone on to make 203 appearances for the club, scoring 57 goals across all competitions.
In the Women's Super League, Foord has scored 32 goals and provided 20 assists in 118 games, though just two of those contributions came in the 2025-26 campaign (two goals) as Arsenal finished second.
Foord has won four trophies during her time in north London, winning the Champions League, two League Cups and the inaugural FIFA Champions Cup earlier this year.
She scored the winner in a 3-2 extra-time victory over Corinthians to help Arsenal win the latter competition.
Both Katie McCabe and Beth Mead will leave Arsenal upon the expiry of their contracts later this month, though Foord has decided to stay.
