All the Winners of the Best Awards: Dembélé, Luis Enrique and More
FIFA crowned the most outstanding figures of the season in a ceremony that brought together the biggest stars of world football.
Spanish coach Luis Enrique Martínez, head coach of Paris Saint-Germain, was awarded the The Best prize for Men’s Coach of the Year by FIFA this Monday at a gala held in Doha.
The former Spain national team manager, who beat Germany’s Hansi Flick and the Netherlands’ Arne Slot, coaches of Barcelona and Liverpool respectively, led PSG to the first Champions League title in the club’s history, as well as winning Ligue 1, the French Cup, the French Super Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup.
French forward Ousmane Dembélé capped off Paris Saint-Germain’s outstanding 2025 by being named the winner of The Best award, presented by FIFA to the Men’s Player of the Year, while Spain’s Aitana Bonmatí further cemented her legacy as the queen of women’s football by claiming her third consecutive award.

The Frenchman was crowned the best player in the world. The 28-year-old star shone brightly and was decisive in the outstanding season produced by Paris Saint-Germain last year.
BEST COACH
Luis Enrique, 55, succeeds Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti in the award. Ancelotti is a former Real Madrid manager and is currently the head coach of the Brazil national team.
Aitana Bonmatí
The Catalan midfielder was instrumental in helping Barcelona maintain their dominance in Spanish football, winning all possible titles and reaching the Champions League final, where they were defeated by Arsenal, led by Mariona Caldentey, in Lisbon.
Gianluigi Donnarumma
Goalkeeper of the Year
The Italian goalkeeper was honored as the best male goalkeeper of the year for his decisive performances. Donnarumma is also included in the 2025 World XI.

Puskás Award
Santiago Montiel
The Argentine forward won the 2025 Puskás Award for the best goal of the year, thanks to his spectacular strike in the Argentine league with Independiente.

Lizbeth Ovalle (TIGRES/MÉXICO)
The Mexican footballer was recognized for her outstanding goal during the women’s season.
Best Women’s Goalkeeper
Hannah Hampton (England / Chelsea)
Hampton was crowned the best female goalkeeper in the world following an outstanding season with her club and national team.
Best Women’s Coach
Sarina Wiegman (England / England National Team)
The English coach was awarded for her outstanding work leading the women’s national team.
