After playing 50 matches in each of the last two seasons reaching a total of 100 appearances with the Rossoneri the U.S. international decided to take a well-earned summer break, prioritizing rest over the honor of wearing his country’s colors.

The U.S. team, without its “Captain America,” managed to reach the Gold Cup final but ultimately fell 2-1 to their long-time rivals, Mexico, settling for a runner-up finish.

A Happy Return to Milan

While the U.S. battled for the regional title, Pulisic spent time off with his partner, professional golfer Alexa Melton. The 26-year-old forward reported back to Milan in good spirits, ready for a fresh start under head coach Massimiliano Allegri, who returns to the San Siro dugout for the 2025-26 season.
