Scandal at Boca: Carlos Palacios has not played in three games and is now in the news for posing as a model on Instagram.
In Boca's last three games, Carlos Palacios was not used by Miguel Ángel Russo. This is due to a decision by the coach regarding the player, which seems to go beyond his knee injury, since, if he had an injury, the Chilean would not even have been in the squad for the last game against Racing.
However, despite not playing a single minute against La Academia, the former Colo Colo player made headlines again. And once again, it was for a non-football-related situation that undoubtedly caught people's attention: he posed as a model for a clothing brand on Instagram.
Unexpected: Carlos Palacios modeled for a clothing brand.
Carlos Palacios is currently at odds with Miguel Ángel Russo. This occurred after the player arrived late to practice on Monday, prior to the match against Atlético Tucumán for the Copa Argentina.

Since then, the Chilean has not played again. And although initially it was suggested that the reason for his absence was a knee injury, that story seems to be fading. Against Racing, the striker was in the squad (he was in condition to play) and was on the bench, but he did not even come on as a substitute.

Diego Latorre harshly criticizes Carlos Palacios at Boca: “He lives in a parallel reality, he's lost.”
One of the soccer stars who commented on Carlos Palacios was Diego Latorre. The former player and commentator was very harsh on the Boca player for his current situation.
On ESPN, Latorre remarked:
"He has talent, but he lives in a parallel reality. Boca is a starting point, and because of his attitude, I see him as lost. 'I do this and that, and in the end, there are no consequences."
He added:
“It seems like he's already satisfied, and he shows it with his attitude. He's always reminding people, ‘I played here, I played there’; this is the present, prove it. Your destiny begins when you arrive at Boca.”
