Teams Earning the Most Millions from Their Jerseys
One of the primary sources of income for football clubs undoubtedly comes from their jersey contracts. This can be attributed to the brand responsible for manufacturing them or the sponsors paying to appear on them.
The two clubs earning the most money in this regard are the two Spanish giants: Real Madrid and Barcelona. According to "Football Benchmark," Real Madrid receives $120 million annually from their contract with adidas and another $70 million from the sponsorship deal with Emirates airline.
Meanwhile, Barcelona adds $105 million to their coffers each season from Nike, although this could change due to rumors of new negotiations between the two parties. Through the sponsorship deal with Spotify, Barça pockets an additional $70 million.
The third team in this ranking is Paris Saint-Germain. The Parisians receive $80 million from their contract with Nike, which has led to collaborations with the Jordan brand, in addition to an extra $68 million from the agreement with Qatar Airways.
