Ready for Canelo vs Munguía? In MLB, They Are!
Tensions reached a boiling point in Major League Baseball during Tuesday's showdown between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Milwaukee Brewers, following a series of actions involving Dominicans Abner Uribe and José Siri, who came to blows.
As seen in the video provided by MLB, both players were involved in a scuffle, leading to benches clearing and pushing and shoving.
It appears that the Brewers' discomfort began when, in the top of the third inning, Siri hit a home run off Freddy Peralta, who subsequently hit Rays' player Siri with a 95-mile-per-hour pitch. Peralta was ejected, and in the eighth inning, there was a verbal exchange between Dominicans at first base.
After the game, José Siri commented on the incident, saying: 'I reached first base, and he bumped into me with his shoulders. I turned around and asked him why he did that, and he said 'because he felt like it, because he wanted to'."
