This Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8, the city of New York will host one of the most thrilling sailing competitions on the international calendar: the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix 2025. With the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop, 12 national teams will race in F50 catamarans, which can reach speeds of over 95 km/h.

Schedule and broadcast
The official races kick off Saturday at 1:00 PM ET (10:00 AM PT) and continue on Sunday at 3:30 PM ET (12:30 PM PT). You can catch all the action live and exclusively on beIN SPORTS en Español, with coverage straight from the waters between the Statue of Liberty and Governors Island.
Race preview and expectations
Leading up to the event, the training sessions have been intense. New Zealand and the BONDS Flying Roos from Australia topped their respective groups. Meanwhile, Suisse SailGP, currently sitting seventh overall, will try to bounce back after a rough start in earlier rounds.
This race also marks the official return of the fleet after more than two months off, following the cancellation of the Rio de Janeiro stage due to an incident involving the Australian team during the San Francisco event.
Conditions in New York are expected to be tricky, with gusty winds and strong currents making for an unpredictable, high-stakes race. Every team will be looking to pick up crucial points in the Rolex SailGP 2025 standings. The New York Grand Prix is the sixth stop of the season and the last one on U.S. waters before the final showdown. Everything's set for a weekend full of speed, strategy, and excitement on the water.
