Tengnueng Fairtex vs. Tun Min Aung Tops ONE Friday Fights 129, Full Card Revealed
ONE Championship returns to the Thai capital for ONE Friday Fights 129, featuring 12 electrifying battles and nearly two dozen athletes competing for a US$100,000 contract. Thai Fight Champion Tengnueng Fairtex will take on Myanmar’s teenage phenom Tun Min Aung in the main event, while Thailand’s own Petlampun Muadablampang faces Iraqi knockout artist Ayad Albadr in the co-main event. Plus, British prodigy Fergus Smith makes his promotional debut against Yemeni sensation Zahran Al-Wesabi in the featured attraction.
Surging Veteran Meets Teenage Rising Star in Main Event
Headlining ONE Friday Fights 129 at Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium is a thrilling 165-pound Muay Thai clash between two southpaw strikers, as Tengnueng Fairtex brings nearly two decades of experience into his showdown with 19-year-old Tun Min Aung.
Tengnueng, a Thai Fight Champion, holds a staggering professional record of 103-15-4. The 32-year-old has built his reputation through fearsome left body kicks and devastating left hands that have punished countless opponents. Following in his father’s footsteps, Tengnueng discovered his passion for Muay Thai after his first taste of victory — and prize money — as a teenager. After taking a two-year hiatus from competition at age 25, the powerhouse returned hungrier than ever, now fighting to provide for his child and parents.
His opponent, Tun Min Aung, represents the future of the sport. He began training at just six years old in a family deeply rooted in martial arts, with his cousin Sulaiman Looksuan also a fighter. The Lethwei specialist has amassed an astonishing record of 45-2-7 thanks to his relentless aggression and killer instinct that defies his youth. Riding back-to-back victories, the Myanmar sensation aims to prove that the next generation has arrived.
Technical Strikers Take Center Stage in Co-Main Event
The co-main event features Thailand’s Petlampun Muadablampang colliding with Iraq’s Ayad Albadr in a 126-pound Muay Thai bout that showcases two highly technical strikers determined to control their own destinies.
Petlampun, 28, owns an impressive record of 92-24-2. The Thai discovered Muay Thai at 13 after frequently changing schools during his youth. His farmer parents initially opposed his fighting career, but his success eventually earned their support. Now armed with a degree in physical education and dreams of opening his own gym, Petlampun has earned multiple performance bonuses for his destructive finishing power.
Meanwhile, Albadr faced even greater challenges pursuing martial arts in Iraq, where limited sponsorships, facilities, and competition opportunities made his journey extraordinarily difficult. Yet, the 24-year-old never abandoned his dream. His persistence paid off when he captured a national championship that earned him a place on Iraq’s national team. Backed by his three older brothers, who have supported him financially, Albadr now seeks to repay their faith by improving his 14-6 record and earning a six-figure ONE Championship contract.

British Prodigy Makes Promotional Debut
Undefeated 19-year-old Fergus Smith enters ONE Championship for the first time against Yemen’s Zahran Al-Wesabi in the featured attraction — representing the latest elite talent to emerge from England’s legendary Bad Company Gym.
Smith was literally born into excellence: his parents, Richard Smith and Lisa Houghton-Smith, own the renowned facility, meaning he grew up surrounded by world-class fighters like Liam Harrison and Andy Howson. That environment molded a prodigy who compiled over 100 junior bouts with fewer than five losses. Now, Smith aims to surpass every champion who helped shape his development.
His opponent, Al-Wesabi, brings Yemen’s trademark fearless aggression into the 118-pound Muay Thai contest. The relentless striker boasts a 30-3 record, unleashing every technique imaginable from the opening bell to create chaos that overwhelms his rivals.
