Petmuangsri vs. Thom Tops ONE Friday Fights 169
ONE Championship is kicking off the month with another night of high-stakes action this Friday, September 4
ONE Championship is kicking off the month with another night of high-stakes action this Friday, September 4, as ONE Friday Fights 169 brings nine bouts across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA to Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, each one carrying the same career-altering carrot: a US$100,000 contract and a spot on ONE Championship's global roster.
Momentum Collides With A Finisher's Instinct
The main event pairs two fighters trending in opposite directions stylistically.
Petmuangsri Torfunfarm has quietly built momentum through calculated, decision-based performances. Most recently, at ONE Friday Fights 156 in May, he eked out a split-decision win in a tightly contested affair with Diogo “La Pantera” Miguel Silva. The 23-year-old now looks to prove he can handle a completely different kind of test.
That test comes in the form of Gregor Thom, a Scottish slugger who has been known for his knockout capabilities. Both of his ONE Championship victories have ended inside the distance, and his aggressive, finish-first mentality has made him one of the most must-watch strikers on the weekly series.
For Petmuangsri, avoiding Thom's power could be just as important as landing his own offense.

Experience Faces A Hungry Newcomer With Something To Prove
The co-main event pits seasoned veteran Khunponnoi Sor Sommai against the considerably less experienced Sunvo Torfunfarm in a battle of contrasting résumés.
Khunponnoi, at 33, has built a reputation on consistency. He is riding a two-bout winning streak, having recently outclassed the aforementioned Thom via unanimous decision at ONE Friday Fights 162 in July for his 128th career victory.

Sunvo represents the opposite end of the spectrum. Making just his third promotional appearance since debuting in 2023, the 23-year-old is still writing the early chapters of his career.
However, a recent knockout performance against Khundet PK Saenchai at ONE Friday Fights 161 this past July suggests he's ready to accelerate that timeline. Toppling a fighter of Khunponnoi's experience would instantly reshape how the promotion views his potential.
