ONE Friday Fights 144 Results: Chatpichit Extends Streak, Teenage Phenom Lothong Impresses, Kongklai Delivers Brutal TKO
ONE Championship closed the month in style with ONE Friday Fights 144 at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on February 27, which was loaded with breathless battles, stunning knockouts, and even an arm-triangle choke submission.
Chatpichit Sor Sor Toipadriew earned his third straight win in the main event, 17-year-old sensation Lothong Kruaynaimuanggym displayed his prodigious skills in the co-main event, and Kongklai Sor Sommai delivered a brutal second-round TKO in the featured attraction.
Chatpichit Claims Third Consecutive Victory
Chatpichit Sor Sor Toipadriew secured his third straight win by outworking Tubtimthong IngfahhotelUbon over three competitive rounds in the main event.
Tubtimthong opened the atomweight Muay Thai clash aggressively, firing powerful teeps from distance while searching for a fight-changing moment. But the 26-year-old Chatpichit found success by neutralizing the range game, consistently closing distance to land knees and sharp elbows during exchanges.
The middle frame saw Tubtimthong adjust his strategy, utilizing wild front kicks to maintain separation. Chatpichit absorbed the attacks while continuing his forward march, landing more strikes in close quarters.
A similar pattern followed in the third and final round, as Chatpichit mixed punches, knees, and elbows while Tubtimthong faded under the sustained pressure. All three judges awarded Chatpichit the unanimous decision, pushing his record to 63-17.
Teenage Phenom Lothong Wins Thriller
Seventeen-year-old Lothong Kruaynaimuanggym survived a competitive battle against Wanpadej NF Looksuan to capture a unanimous decision in their flyweight Muay Thai co-main event.
In the opening stanza, the teenage prodigy established early control through damaging clinch knees and sharp striking combinations that repeatedly found their target. Wanpadej stormed back in round two, utilizing spinning attacks and heavy combinations to seize momentum and level the contest. But Lothong remained dangerous, catching kicks and countering with massive punches whenever his opponent overcommitted.
The third and final round saw Wanpadej pressing desperately for a finish, throwing everything at the teenager while searching for a decisive breakthrough. Lothong weathered the assault with remarkable composure for his age, answering pressure with pinpoint shots and effective clinch work that impressed judges.
In the end, the teen sensation earned the unanimous decision nod, improving his professional record to 60-17 and showcasing why he's considered one of Thailand's brightest young talents.

Kongklai Destroys Habibpour In Two Rounds
Kongklai Sor Sommai delivered a punishing performance, dropping Mohammad "Prince of Persia" Habibpour twice before finishing him via second-round TKO in the featured attraction.
The Thai striker needed less than a minute to score the first knockdown of the bantamweight Muay Thai contest. After absorbing a slew of punches in the clinch, he drove three knees into Habibpour's midsection that crumpled the Iranian.
Habibpour survived the opening round, but he found no answers to Kongklai's physical dominance in round two. Although the Iranian threw out punches in an effort to close the distance, the 27-year-old Thai controlled the range with kicks and then got back into the clinch. He threw another barrage of knees to drop his rival yet again.
The Iranian beat the count, but the end was certainly near.
Sensing blood in the water, Kongklai continued to punch and kick his way back into the clinch, where he continued to fire off knees and elbows. A dazed “Prince of Persia” couldn’t intelligently defend himself, and some final punches caused the referee to stop the contest, giving the Thai his 83rd professional win.
