ONE Friday Fights 136 Results: Ali Kelat Has Knockout Performance In Main Event, Lee Earns Six-Figure Contract
ONE Championship delivered another thrilling installment of its weekly Asia primetime series on December 12, as ONE Friday Fights 136 showcased 11 bouts across Muay Thai, MMA, and submission grappling at Bangkok's legendary Lumpinee Stadium. Turkish knockout artist Ali Kelat continued his destructive run with another first-round stoppage, Russian phenom Maksim Bakhtin extended his unbeaten streak in a back-and-forth slugfest, and South Korean submission specialist Lee "The Flash" Seung Chul capped the evening by earning a coveted US$100,000 contract with the organization's main roster.
Turkish Powerhouse Kelat Delivers Devastating Uppercut
Seven-time Muay Thai World Champion “The Angel Warrior” Panpayak Jitmuangnon was originally slated to compete in a flyweight kickboxing main event, but a late sickness forced him to withdraw from the contest.
It’s unfortunate, but the new headliners made up for it. Ali Kelat solidified himself as a serious lightweight Muay Thai contender, demolishing Petkhaokradong Lukjaomaesaithong in the opening frame of their showdown.
The 26-year-old, who trains at Team Mehdi Zatout, wasted no time implementing his aggressive game plan. After pressing his Thai opponent toward the ring ropes, Kelat uncorked a crisp punching combination that had Petkhaokradong backpedaling. Sensing his adversary was hurt, the Turkish striker unleashed a piercing knee strike before connecting with a thunderous uppercut that sent Petkhaokradong crashing to the canvas.
The Thai attempted to rise before the referee's count concluded, but his body betrayed him. Officials halted the contest at the 1:40 mark, giving Kelat his second consecutive knockout victory in ONE Championship. The triumph pushed his professional record to an impressive 20-2 and marked him as a rising star to watch.
Bakhtin Survives War With Alipourandi
Undefeated Russian prospect Maksim Bakhtin preserved his perfect record in a grueling lightweight Muay Thai battle against Iran's Abolfazl "White Wolf" Alipourandi, prevailing via split decision after three hard-fought rounds.
Both warriors came out swinging from the opening bell. The 22-year-old Bakhtin showcased his versatile striking repertoire, mixing in spinning back kicks and brutal elbow strikes, while "White Wolf" countered with powerful kicks and boxing combinations. The Iranian fighter seized momentum in the second frame, battering Bakhtin with relentless high kicks that appeared to shift the tide in his favor.
However, Bakhtin refused to wilt under pressure. The Muay Thai Union representative regained his composure entering the final round and utilized his significant height advantage to control distance effectively. A well-timed right hand momentarily wobbled Alipourandi in the closing moments, proving decisive on the judges' scorecards. With the narrow victory, Bakhtin improved his unblemished record to 12-0.

Lee Earns Golden Ticket With Slick Submission
South Korea's Lee "The Flash" Seung Chul secured the biggest prize of the evening, choking out Indonesia's Cueng "Silent Killer" Naibaho in the first round to claim a life-changing six-figure contract with ONE Championship's main roster.
Lee immediately established dominance in their strawweight MMA contest, closing the distance and executing a textbook leg sweep that planted Naibaho on his back. The 26-year-old Korean grappler swiftly transitioned to back control and began hunting for the finish. His initial rear-naked choke attempt came up empty, prompting Lee to adjust his strategy.
"The Flash" intelligently mixed in punishing ground-and-pound strikes, drawing Naibaho's attention to defending the blows. When his opponent's guard shifted, Lee slipped his arm beneath the chin once more and locked in the submission with technical precision. The Indonesian had no choice but to tap at 3:02 of the opening stanza.
The impressive performance extended Lee's winning streak to 11 consecutive victories and improved his overall record to 11-1, with all four of his ONE Friday Fights appearances ending in triumph.
