Stephen Irvine vs. Rambong Sor Therapat Headlines ONE Friday Fights 128, Full Card Revealed
The world’s largest martial arts organization returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, October 10, with ONE Friday Fights 128, featuring 12 explosive matchups and nearly two dozen athletes competing for a US$100,000 contract to join the main roster.
Scottish Rising Star Faces Thai Veteran in Main Event
Stephen Irvine takes center stage against Thailand’s Rambong Sor Therapat in a 130-pound Muay Thai showdown that represents far more than just another fight. For the 25-year-old, this moment is the culmination of a journey that began when he was six, following his father to the gym for the first time.
“El Matador” dominated the European junior scene with more than 100 amateur fights before setting his sights on following teammate Nico Carrillo’s path to ONE Championship glory. Now holding a 29-4 professional record, Irvine is riding a four-fight winning streak and could be just one victory away from securing the life-changing contract.
Rambong’s story embodies the transformative power of martial arts. Growing up in extreme poverty, his family often had to ask neighbors for food. The 28-year-old used his fight earnings to put himself through university, where he earned a degree in sports science.
After having his seven-fight winning streak snapped, the southpaw pressure fighter is determined to claim his 82nd career victory and secure a contract that could change his family’s future forever.

Family Legacy and Rematch Highlight the Card
The co-main event features Singdomthong Nokjeanladkrabang vs. Sanit Aekmuangnon in a 129-pound Muay Thai clash between two Thai warriors carrying the weight of family expectations.
Singdomthong represents the last active fighter of a remarkable dynasty — 13 family members, including his father, uncles, aunts, and siblings, have all competed in “the art of eight limbs.” The 25-year-old striker, with an 84-22 record, looks to bounce back after a devastating knockout ended his five-fight winning streak.
For Sanit, the stakes are equally personal. He is the only active fighter remaining from his village after his gym closed, fighting to support his five-year-old son and three-year-old daughter. Riding a three-fight knockout streak, the aggressive clinch specialist is hungry for his 87th career win.
Another highlight is the rematch between Thailand’s Duangdawnoi and Australia’s Kim Townsend in a 107-pound Muay Thai contest. Townsend won their first meeting by split decision, and now Duangdawnoi — who comes from one of Thailand’s most famous Muay Thai families — seeks revenge. Townsend enters the rematch on a 17-fight winning streak and with four Muay Thai World Championships, aiming to prove her first victory was no fluke.
