Highlights - BYB 23: 'Brawl in the Pines II
On a night full of crazy vibes and hardcore punches that dished out more than two knockouts in different divisions, BYB returned to Pines, Florida.
Henry Williams snagged the first win of the night against Henry Phillips, landing a solid right hook that caused a massive eye injury. Williams clinched the victory by KO when the doc called it off for Phillips.
The second bout of the night featured the women's division, with the Red Queen making a fierce comeback, ruthlessly taking down her opponent and scoring a KO just a minute into the first round.
In the third fight, we had two middleweights throwing nothing but offense. In a battle between warriors, Rome Lindsay KO'd Minasyan, who, in the same punch that defeated him, had also knocked Lindsay down.
So, in the first three fights, we witnessed KOs, and then in the following ones, Fuentes secured a unanimous decision, Cisneros got a KO, Hawkins got a KO with the doc stopping the fight, and Díaz got a KO in his BYB debut against Dey-Ali.
The main event brought us the trilogy between the Croatian champ Marko Martinjak and the American contender Jarome Hatch. After each winning a fight, this one would tip the scales. The champ came out like a gladiator and ended the bout in the first round with a KO, after three consecutive knockdowns, to retain his title and wrap up this story in the Pines.
