Manny Pacquiao Is Not Giving Up: He Will Return to the Ring in December.
Manny Pacquiao will return to the ring in December 2025. After his draw against Mario Barrios, the legendary Filipino is looking to end his career on his own terms.
Against all odds
Last July, Manny Pacquiao surprised the world by returning to the ring at age 46 to face Mario Barrios in Las Vegas. Despite doubts about his age and nearly four years of professional inactivity, the Filipino showed that he can still compete at the highest level.
The return of a legend
Manny Pacquiao has not said his last word in boxing. After his draw against WBC champion Mario Barrios, the Filipino confirmed that he will return to the ring before the end of the year.
It was during an interview with journalist Dyan Castillejo that Pacquiao directly stated:
“This year. December.”
With this statement, the eight-division world champion made it clear that his boxing story is not yet complete.
Who will be the next opponent?
Although initially there was talk of an immediate rematch against Barrios, Pacquiao's team has begun to explore new options. Among the names being mentioned are Rolly Romero, Ryan Garcia, and Gervonta Davis. All three have expressed interest in facing Pacquiao.
With four months to go before the event, the choice of opponent cannot be delayed. Pacquiao's return is generating excitement.
