What Did Taylor Swift Say During Chiefs vs. Broncos? The Message to Travis Kelce That Sparked Speculation
Taylor Swift went viral during Chiefs vs. Broncos after she was caught yelling at the screen. A lip reader revealed what she allegedly said while Travis Kelce was in action.
The attention during the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos matchup was not focused solely on the field. While Patrick Mahomes led Kansas City and Travis Kelce once again emerged as one of the offense’s key players, Taylor Swift created her own viral moment from one of the suites at Arrowhead Stadium.
Swift was in attendance to support Kelce during the Chiefs’ 31-10 victory, in Kansas City’s first home game of the 2026 season. However, one of her reactions in the second quarter quickly caught the attention of fans.
The cameras showed the singer intensely watching the game and seemingly yelling at the screen. The moment was enough to spark speculation on social media about exactly what she was saying.
The Phrase Swift Allegedly Said
The moment happened after Travis Kelce caught a six-yard pass late in the second quarter. With the tight end closely covered, Swift appeared on screen with a particularly intense reaction.
According to lip reader Jeremy Freeman, the singer was allegedly saying: “He’s open! He’s open! Get off of him, please!”, apparently reacting to the space Kelce had to make the reception.
Another interpretation, provided by Nicola Hickling, identified a different sequence from another clip of the game. According to Hickling, Swift appeared to repeat “Come on!” before allegedly saying: “Do this for me, baby.”
Taylor Swift Wasn’t the Only Star Making Headlines
Tom Cruise also drew attention after he was spotted chatting with Swift during the game. The presence of several high-profile celebrities gave the broadcast plenty of moments to fuel the conversation surrounding the matchup.
Swift’s appearance also carried added significance for her relationship with Kelce. This was her first Chiefs game since the couple got married on July 3, making her presence at Arrowhead even more closely watched.
Kelce also delivered on the field. The veteran tight end finished with three receptions for 71 yards, including an explosive 59-yard catch in the third quarter that helped set up another important Kansas City possession.
Travis Kelce and the Chiefs Deliver a Statement Win
Kansas City defeated Denver 31-10 and completely controlled the second half, with the Broncos managing just three points after halftime.
The game also marked an important return for Patrick Mahomes, who was back in action after the knee injury he suffered last season. The quarterback completed 15 of 27 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for a score.
After the game, Mahomes acknowledged that he was still working his way back into a rhythm but praised his teammates for stepping up and helping the Chiefs secure a convincing victory.
