Five NFL Legends Join the Pro Football Hall of Fame
Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, Luke Kuechly, Adam Vinatieri, and Roger Craig have officially been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, celebrating careers that helped shape NFL history.
The 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class has officially taken its place among football's immortals as five iconic players were enshrined in Canton, Ohio, recognizing careers that transformed the game and inspired generations.
Leading the class is Drew Brees, who earned induction in his first year of eligibility. The legendary quarterback guided the New Orleans Saints to victory in Super Bowl XLIV, where he was named Super Bowl MVP. He retired with 80,358 passing yards and 571 touchdown passes, ranking among the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
Joining him is Larry Fitzgerald, another first-ballot Hall of Famer. The Arizona Cardinals legend spent all 17 seasons of his career with one franchise, finishing second all-time in both receptions (1,432) and receiving yards (17,492) while becoming one of the league's most respected leaders.
Former Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly also earned his place among football's elite after one of the most dominant defensive careers of the modern era. Despite playing only eight seasons, he captured Defensive Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and five First-Team All-Pro selections.
Legendary kicker Adam Vinatieri enters Canton after building perhaps the greatest résumé ever at his position. Famous for his clutch postseason field goals with the Patriots and Colts, he retired as the NFL's all-time leading scorer with 2,673 points.
Completing the class is Roger Craig, elected by the Seniors Committee. The former San Francisco 49ers running back made history in 1985 as the first player ever to record 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards in the same season, forever changing the role of running backs in the modern offense.
The Class of 2026 is honored during Hall of Fame Weekend, highlighted by the annual Hall of Fame Game, which officially opens the NFL preseason.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame houses more than 40,000 historical artifacts, including game balls used in Super Bowls, helmets, championship rings, and even the cleats Adam Vinatieri wore to kick some of the most famous field goals in NFL history. Every year, the museum welcomes hundreds of thousands of fans who visit Canton, Ohio, considered the "birthplace" of professional American football.
