Napoli secures top-four finish with routine win
Napoli secured a top-four finish in Serie A with a routine 3-0 win over bottom side Pisa.
With Juventus beaten by Fiorentina and falling five points Antonio Conte's side with one game remaining, goals from Scott McTominay, Amir Rrahmani and Rasmus Hojlund saw the Partenopei ensure Champions League football next season.
The visitor broke the deadlock midway through the first half at Arena Garibaldi as Hojlund laid the ball off for McTominay, who slotted past Pisa goalkeeper Adrian Semper from the edge of the box.
Napoli doubled its lead six minutes later, with Eljif Elmas's deep corner nodded in by Rrahmani at the far post.
Pisa almost pulled a goal back in first-half stoppage time, but Alex Meret produced a superb reflex save at his far post to deny Filip Stojilkovic from close range.
Conte's side subsequently cruised through the second half, and rounded off victory right at the death, with substitute Pasquale Mazzocchi drilling the ball across the area for Hojlund.
