Malen marks Roma debut with goal
Donyell Malen scored on his debut as Roma recorded its third straight Serie A victory with a 2-0 win over Torino.
Paulo Dybala was also on target with his first league goal in three months for the Giallorossi, who avenged their 3-2 defeat when the sides met in the Coppa Italia five days earlier.
Malen thought he had broken the deadlock when he poked home from 11 yards out, but his effort was ruled out for offside after a VAR review.
However, the Netherlands international was not to be denied in the 26th minute, receiving Dybala's pass before sweeping past Alberto Paleari in the Torino goal.
Valentin Lazaro shot straight at Mile Svilar as the hosts pushed for an equaliser, but Roma doubled their advantage 18 minutes from time with Dybala neatly finishing from close range.
Malen hit the side-netting and, after Che Adams grazed the post at the other end, Robinio Vaz called Paleari into action, but the two-goal cushion saw the visitors home.
