The goalkeeper's previous deal was set to expire in June 2028, but the 29 year-old is now set to stay at Selhurst Park until the summer of 2030.

Henderson has made 119 appearances for Palace since joining from Manchester United in 2023, keeping 38 clean sheets across all competitions.

Henderson won the FA Cup with Palace in 2024-2025, saving a penalty against Manchester City in the final, while he captained them to Conference League glory last term.

His new deal was announced on the eve of the Eagles' Europa League opener against Lech Poznan, and Henderson believes his best years are still to come.

"I'm delighted. It's been an amazing three years – and I'm just so happy to extend my contract," he said. "My best years are in front of me, and I'm happy to be giving that to Crystal Palace."

Winning the 2025-2026 Conference League, Palace became the first team to win a major European trophy in their debut campaign since KV Mechelen in 1987-88.

The Eagles went unbeaten in their final six home matches, after losing their first to AEK Larnaca.

The reigning Conference League holder has won its first major European game in the next campaign in just one of four seasons, with West Ham beating Backa Topola in the 2023-2024 Europa League.
