Frankfurt's Brown signs with Bayern Munich
Nathaniel Brown caught the eye at Eintracht Frankfurt last term and has now joined Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich ahead of the new season.
Brown, who represented Germany at the 2026 FIFA World Cup before its shock Round of 32 exit to Paraguay, has put pen to paper on a deal running through to June 2031.
The 23-year-old joined Eintracht in January 2024, making 72 appearances for the former UEFA Europa League champion in all competitions.
In 2025-2026, he was named the club's player of the season, recording four goals and four assists in the Bundesliga, as well as getting two assists in the UEFA Champions League.
At the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Brown impressed on his debut during Germany's 7-1 thumping of Curacao.
He became the first player to both score and assist on his tournament debut for Germany since Thomas Muller against Australia in 2010.
"Bayern is one of the best clubs in the world," Brown said.
"It means so much to me to have the chance to play for this club, and it fills me with pride. I also come from Bavaria, which makes it even more special.
"I've always dreamed of playing for the biggest titles at the highest level; I set myself the highest goals and want to get the maximum out of me every day.
"The idea that I might one day play for FC Bayern – that was just a dream, nothing more and nothing less.
"I quickly had a great feeling in talks with the management. Vincent Kompany in particular showed me how he sees me and my development and absolutely convinced me."
Brown is expected to challenge Alphonso Davies for a place in Bayern's starting line-up.
He follows the signing of Ismael Saibari, who penned a five-year deal earlier this week after joining from PSV.
