Irina-Camelia Begu and Timea Babos will meet in the Brasil Tennis Cup final after winning their semi-finals in straight sets on Thursday.
Begu and Babos face Florianopolis showdown
Either Irina-Camelia Begu or Timea Babos will win their first WTA title of 2016 when they contest the final in Florianopolis.
Second seed Begu took advantage of Monica Puig's service struggles to win 6-3 6-3 in Florianopolis and set up a showdown with Babos on Friday.
Puig, seeded three, racked up seven double faults and won only 55 per cent of points on her first serve to miss out on a place in the final.
Sixth seed Babos ensured there will be no all-Romania final by ousting outsider Ana Bogdan 7-6 (10-8) 6-3.
Both finalists will be eyeing their first WTA titles this year on Friday.
