Sweden's Frida Karlsson wins gold in women's skiathlon
A golden start in the Italian Alps: Sweden’s Frida Karlsson stormed to victory in the women’s skiathlon, claiming the opening cross-country gold at the Milano Cortina Olympics.
Her fellow Swede Ebba Andersson took silver, while Heidi Weng of Norway clinched the bronze after 10km of classic and 10km of freestyle cross-country skiing.
