Russia's Aliya Mustafina successfully defended her uneven bars gymnastics title at the Olympic Games on Sunday.

Mustafina, 21, scored 15.900 to take gold ahead of world champion Madison Kocian of the United States (15.833).

Germany's Sophie Scheder took bronze with 15.566.
