Travelers victor Watson up to third in golf rankings
Bubba Watson, Paul Casey and Pablo Larrazabal were all movers in the latest golf world rankings.
Bubba Watson's victory at the Travelers Championship has seen him climb to third in the official world golf rankings.
The American beat Paul Casey after a two-hole play-off to triumph at a tournament where he won his first PGA Tour title.
Watson, previously fifth in the world, enjoyed a fine weekend at TPC River Highlands and started his weekend with a splendid eight-under-par 62.
Casey may have missed out on the top prize, but the Englishman continues to work his way back up the rankings.
Having climbed as high as third in the world in 2009, Casey went on to slip out the top 100, but a runners-up finish sees him back up to world number 23.
Pablo Larrazabal was the other big mover. The Spaniard beat Henrik Stenson by one stroke to win the BMW International Open on the European Tour for the second time in his career.
Victory in Munich bumps his ranking from 118 to 69.
