Cillessen returns for Ajax despite Barcelona talk
Barcelona target Jasper Cillessen has returned to Ajax's starting line-up to face Rostov, despite reports that he will move to Spain soon.
Ajax have recalled Jasper Cillessen for their Champions League play-off second leg against Rostov, despite the goalkeeper reportedly being close to joining Barcelona.
Head coach Peter Bosz left the Netherlands international out of the 2-1 Eredivisie defeat to Willem II on Saturday after confirming the Spanish champions were interested in signing him.
However, the 27-year-old has been named in the starting line-up for Wednesday's crucial clash against Rostov, as Ajax aim to secure a place in Thursday's group-stage draw.
Reports in Spain have suggested Cillessen will undergo a Barca medical on Thursday before finalising his transfer to Camp Nou.
Claudio Bravo is expected to join Manchester City in the coming days, after he was pictured arriving in England to complete a move to Etihad Stadium.
Ajax drew 1-1 with Rostov in the first leg at the Amsterdam ArenA.
