La Liga side Real Sociedad have announced the signing of former Manchester City playmaker David Silva on a free transfer. Announcing the deal on social media, the Basque club confirmed that the 34-year old has signed a deal till 2022 with the side. 

Silva enjoyed 10 trophy-laden seasons in Manchester and played his final game for the side in the 3-1 quarter-final defeat to Lyon in the Champions League.
