The 27-year-old forward makes the switch to north London after spending 18 months at Manchester City, where he scored 16 goals in 62 appearances across all competitions.
Tottenham sign Egypt star Omar Marmoush from Manchester City
Tottenham have signed Egypt international Omar Marmoush from Manchester City on a season-long loan with an obligation to make the move permanent next summer.
"It feels amazing to be here. I'm so excited to get started with the team and I can't wait to meet the fans," Marmoush said.
"Tottenham Hotspur is one of the biggest clubs in England, if not the world, and the project was very attractive to me.
"I've spoken with the Head Coach, I loved what he had to say and I'm sure our passion for the game will go very well together."
Marmoush joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 following an impressive spell in Germany.
He made an immediate impact in the Premier League, scoring a hat-trick in a 4-0 victory over Newcastle United in February 2025 before winning the Premier League Goal of the Season award for his strike against Bournemouth.
The Egypt international helped City win the Carabao Cup and FA Cup last season before completing his move to Tottenham.
Spurs head coach Roberto De Zerbi believes Marmoush can add another dimension to his side's attack.
"Omar is exactly the kind of player we want at this club - ambitious, hungry and determined to make a difference," De Zerbi said.
"He brings pace, intelligence and a real threat in front of goal, and I believe he can take our attacking play to another level."
Born in Cairo, Marmoush began his professional career with Wadi Degla before moving to Germany with Wolfsburg in 2017.
Loan spells with St Pauli and Stuttgart followed before he established himself at Wolfsburg and later joined Eintracht Frankfurt, where he scored 37 goals and registered 20 assists in 67 appearances.
Marmoush has also become a key figure for Egypt since making his senior international debut in 2021.
He has scored 11 goals in 55 appearances for the Pharaohs, helped them reach the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations final and represented his country at three editions of the tournament.
Marmoush also featured for Egypt at the World Cup for the first time this summer.
