Ottawa
Ottawa is the capital of Canada and its fourth largest city. It is home to institutions like Parliament Hill (the meeting place for elected representatives), the Supreme Court of Canada, and others, as well as the major national museums.
Lovers of the outdoors have easy access to various activities such as cycling, hiking and camping. Golfers enjoy dozens of courses. Like other Canadian cities, the music festival scene is also of note in Ottawa.

• Sports in general are very popular in Ottawa, where football in particular has deep roots.
• Sixty-four Ottawa clubs are part of the Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association (EODSA), which represents more than 50,000 players.
• The EODSA, located in the city, is strengthening the women’s game and has as objective to promote the sport among young girls.
• Several players from the city’s club FC Fury, have gone on to join the Canada national team.
