Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of Paris Saint-Germain, received the Best Club President award as part of the 2025 Golden Boy Awards.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi, President of Paris Saint-Germain, received the Best Club President award as part of the 2025 Golden Boy Awards. The awards also saw PSG’s Désiré Doué win the 2025 Golden Boy Award after an outstanding season.
Upon receiving the award, PSG President Al-Khelaifi said: "We are very proud of the way we did things and the way we won. The future of PSG will be born and built here. Made in Paris, for Paris. The superstar of PSG is the team, on and off the pitch."
Guido Vaciago, Director of Italian newspaper Tuttosport which grants the award, paid a visit to Paris Saint-Germain’s state of the art training centre, located in Poissy, where 17 pitches are arranged in ascending tiers leading up to the top of the hill, where the first team trains.
Vaciago described what takes place at the training centre, saying:
"The path for young players begins at the age of 11 on the lower pitches, and their ambitions rise with every step they climb upwards. On each ascending level, blue plaques have been placed bearing the names of stars who progressed from the youth ranks to the first team since the 1970s, making the dream achievable for aspiring players."
