Harry Kane wins 2025/26 European Golden Shoe
The Three Lions captain finished as Europe’s leading league goalscorer last season.
Harry Kane has been awarded the European Golden Shoe for the 2025/26 season.
The prestigious accolade is presented to the leading goalscorer across Europe’s top domestic divisions each season.
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker enjoyed another prolific campaign for Bayern Munich, while continuing his remarkable goalscoring record for England.
Kane scored 73 goals across the season, including 12 at international level for the Three Lions, matching his best return for his country since 2021/22.
The England captain also made history at this summer’s FIFA World Cup 2026 as the Three Lions secured their best-ever finish at a men’s World Cup staged on foreign soil.
Kane, England’s most-capped outfield player and most-capped captain, became the Three Lions’ leading goalscorer in FIFA World Cup history during the tournament, first equalling and then surpassing Gary Lineker’s record.
His performances also moved him into joint fifth place on the all-time list of FIFA World Cup goalscorers, further cementing his place among the competition’s most prolific forwards.
