South Africa announce home Ireland series
Ireland will visit South Africa for the first time since 2004 for a three-Test series scheduled to take place in June 2016.
South Africa are to welcome Ireland for a three-match Test series in June as part of their preparations for the Rugby Championship.
The Springboks will host Joe Schmidt's side for the first encounter at Newlands Stadium in Cape Town on June 11.
Johannesburg's Emirates Airline Park will host the second encounter a week later, before the series will culminate at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on June 25.
Ireland - who have never won a Test match in South Africa - last visited the country in June 2004 for two matches that were both won by the hosts.
South Africa also confirmed that their home fixture against New Zealand in the Rugby Championship is to take place in Durban, the first time the fixture against the All Blacks has taken place away from Johannesburg since 2011.
