Munster were eliminated from the European Rugby Champions Cup on Saturday as Stade Francais overcame the first-half dismissal of Josaia Raisque to claim a crucial 27-7 victory at Stade Jean Bouin.

Raisque was sent off by referee Nigel Owens on the stroke of the interval, after making contact with the eye of Munster forward CJ Stander.

Yet Stade, who led 10-0 at the time, were still able to forge further ahead in the second half, despite their numerical disadvantage.

Paul Williams' first-half try was added to by scores from Sekou Macalou and Hugo Bonneval, with Morne Steyn contributing 12 points from the tee.

Conor Murray claimed a late consolation try for Munster, but the two-time European champions can no longer qualify from Pool Four.
