The world No.1 took just 78 minutes to clinch a 6-2 6-3 victory and continued his stunning form at ATP Masters 1000 events.
Sinner showed his intent from the very start and reeled off four games in a row to take a 5-1 lead, with Moller only able to defend three of the five break points he faced in that run.
The Dane broke back to take the next game, but Sinner wasted no time getting over the line in the first set, converting his third set point attempt.
Sinner took control of the second set with a three-game winning streak.
He then comfortably served out the match to set up a meeting with either Cameron Norrie or Thiago Agustin Tirante in the fourth round.
"I tried to stay calm and serve well in important moments," Sinner said after the win.
"I think that was the key. There was not a lot of rhythm, so I tried to stay quite compact. Let's see what's coming in the next round."
